Jump to a detailed breakdown

These are the sections of the rule with full section-by-section modification detail — covering plan review, new construction/remodel commissioning, Certificate of Occupancy, annual inspections, hood/balloon/light tests, sprinkler/standpipe/hydrant flow testing, PIVs, and fire alarm work. Everything else is covered in the Full Index below.

Explicitly NOT adopted

These sections of the model codes are deleted or expressly declared "not adopted" by Georgia — meaning your local jurisdiction's own rules govern instead, not the base IFC/NFPA text.

All 182 adopted codes & standards

Sortable, searchable index of every code/standard adopted under Rule 120-3-3-.04. No mod = adopted as published, no Georgia changes. Modified = click the row for a one-line summary of what changed. Detail here = click the row to jump straight to the full breakdown in this site. 120-3-XX = not modified in 120-3-3 at all — the rule just points to a different Safety Fire Commissioner subject; click the row to open that subject directly. Cross-ref = special applicability note rather than a redline.

Keeping this current

This is a snapshot, not a live feed — Georgia's rules site doesn't support the kind of automated polling that would let this update itself. Just ask for a refresh any time you suspect something changed; based on the amendment history below, checking in every couple of months (or before a task-book submission or plan review that hinges on a specific section) is plenty.

Edition currency: the edition shown in the index above is whatever Georgia has formally adopted by rule — that's what's enforceable here, even after NFPA publishes something newer. A newer NFPA edition existing doesn't change what applies in Georgia until this rule is amended to cite it.
